Today version 1.0.3 of RitMeester has been released. In the Netherlands, when you have a lease-car the tax authorities will add up to 25% of the car value to your gross salary. If you use your car for personal travel less than 500 kilometers per year, you can get a ‘Verklaring geen privé gebruik’ from the tax authorities. Condition is that you maintain detail records of all car travel. RitMeester is the first Mac based program that helps you to keep a detailed and consistent administration, with minimum effort.
This version fixes the problem where an administration document can’t be saved because of an ‘lastDrive is niet geldig’ error.

This new version fixes a bug where the printed header didn’t contain the correct period and increased the maximum number of drives per day to 20.

Today I have added a page on RitMeester. With this software you can keep an adminstration of your car usage, required to get certain tax benefits on a lease car in the Netherlands. RitMeester is still under development, in the meantime I want to give people a sneak preview of what it’s going to look like.
