New versions of Ritmeester available

Version 1.2 of RitMeester for Mac and version 1.1 of RitMeester for iPhone have been released. In the Netherlands, when you have a lease-car the tax authorities will add up to 25% of the car value to your gross salary. If you use your car for personal travel less than 500 kilometers per year, you can get a ‘Verklaring geen privé gebruik’ from the tax authorities. Condition is that you maintain detail records of all car travel. Ritmeester is the first Mac based program that helps you to keep a detailed and consistent administration, with minimum effort.

In dutch, deze versies bevatte de volgende wijzigingen en probleem oplossingen:

Nieuwe gegevensvelden voor klant, project, notities, waakdienst km en parkeerkosten.
Mogelijkheid om te filteren op klant, project en notities.
Bij het toevoegen van een rit op basis van een standaardrit zonder begin-adres en -plaats wordt nu het eind-adres en -plaats van de vorige rit hiervoor gebruikt.
Export mogelijkheid naar CSV file, voor import in Excel of Numbers.
Nieuw afdruk formaat voor een klant overzicht van ritten.
Afdruk layout op ander formaat dan A4 verbeterd.
Een aantal kleine synchronisatie problemen is opgelost.
Op de iPhone: automatisch vinden van het eindpunt van een rit op basis van de huidige GPS locatie.

Version 1.0.2 of the mobile client for Ritmeester is available as a free download from the AppStore. This version solves the synchronization problem that occurred when using special characters like ‘ë’.

This version fixes the problem where an administration document can’t be saved because of an ‘lastDrive is niet geldig’ error.

New application for Dutch traffic info in the AppStore

A second iPhone application that I developed was released to the AppStore this week under the moop.me label. Like RitMeester it is targeted at the Dutch highway junkies, and shows maps of the different regions in the Netherlands with the main roads and traffic jams on these roads. And unfortunately, as I daily experience, there are plenty of those. The name of the application (File Info) might be a bit confusing, and comes from file which is the dutch word for traffic jam.

So far there have been rave reviews only, scoring 9 times out 9 the maximum 5 star rating, and today it took the number 1 spot in ‘most downloaded’ list in the Dutch AppStore. Thank you! The application is available for free in the Dutch AppStore now.

RitMeester is the first Mac based program that helps you to keep a detailed and consistent administration, with minimum effort. All details required by the tax authorities are stored, and you’re only a few clicks away from creating a printed version of your administration when needed.

RitMeester is available in Dutch only, and can now be downloaded as a trial version. Once you are convinced of the benefits it provides you, you can upgrade to the full version for €17.50.
