Makes No Sense At All

Masterdrive was originally developed for the Netherlands only (dubbed Ritmeester), targeting owners of lease-car who need to keep a registration of their car usage for the tax authorities. Over time functionality was added to also maintain a registration for professionals who want to keep track of car usage for commercial purposes, e.g. to invoice customers. The logical next step was to make the application available to a much wider audience by localizing it into English, a step that is now completed with the release of Masterdrive.

With Masterdrive it is very easy to maintain a administration of the drives made with your car(s) on your Mac. It supports drive templates with all the relevant information for much used drives, to make data entry as quick as possible.

Masterdrive v1.2.3 for Mac OS X is now available! From this website you can download a trial version, that is fully functional, but has a limitation of 1 car with 40 drives. If after trying you like Masterdrive, you can purchase a user-license for €17.50, after which the limitations are removed. Data entered in the trial version will be maintained when you upgrade to the full version. The license will also remain valid for future updates that are released.

An iPhone client for Masterdrive will shortly be available for free from the AppStore. Using this mobile client you can enter data about the drives as you are on the road, and once you’re back at your desk they can be synchronised into the Desktop application over a wireless network. Drive templates are uploaded to the mobile client upon synchronization, and it can also provide assistance for the departure and arrival address of a drive using the built-in GPS-based location service.

Registered users can install a new version without problems, the existing registration data will be taken over automatically.

Buy MasterDrive

Click the Buy Now button to purchase MasterDrive and remove the limitations of the trial version. You will be forwarded to the secure PayPal page where you’re taken through the payment process. After completing the payment you will receive a license key per e-mail.

The generation of license keys is currently not automated, typically it will be sent to the e-mail address you provided within 24 hours.
