Now potentially this could already work if you have another application that could pick up the stream from icecast, but it means that you have to switch between apps which is not very elegant. MPoD's primary use case at the moment is to use your iPhone as a fancy remote control for an MPD music server in your home. In that scenario the linux server is connected to an amplifier to play music the 'traditional' way in e.g. your living room. That is an interesting use case that I have briefly thought about, but it’s a major addition to MPoD that is not to be expected anytime soon. Now potentially this could already work if you have another application that could pick up the stream from icecast, but it means that you have to switch between apps which is not very elegant.

The number only edit screen doesn't have an ok button, don't believe there's anything I can do about that. - missing playlist and albums, songs and artists: this can happen if the ip-address is not setup when you start MPoD. If you restart it after correcting the ip-address this problem shouldn't occur. MPD is a music player without its own front-end, instead many people have created various types of front-ends (Web, OS X, Windows, PDA etc.) to work with MPD, and MPoD is one of those specifically for the iPhone / iPod Touch. So, if you don't have a linux box that runs MPD, then MPoD is of no use to you. If you have an MPD server running, make sure you enter the ip address of the system on which it is running in the preferences. You need an MPD server, which primarily runs on Linux.
