The sorting of artist names will be fixed in v1.1. Also names like The Beatles will appear under ‘B’ then.

  2. fizzding says:

Artist names in lower case show up under “A” regardless of what letter they actually start with.

Other than that, all is well.

    Thanks

I never add anything to my playlist, I play full CD’s only. Luckily it’s me who decides whether functionally is useful or not :-) .

I second having the option to append tracks to the currently playing list. The client is only marginally useful without it, in my opinion. Great work so far though :)

How it works: you need an MPD server, I think that primarily runs on Linux. MPD is a music player without its own front-end, instead many people have created various types of front-ends (Web, OS X, Windows, PDA etc.) to work with MPD, and MPoD is one of those specifically for the iPhone / iPod Touch.

I can only provide help with this specific client (MPoD), and not with the setup of MPD itself: I don’t have the knowledge or time for that. There is a wiki on MPD that may be a good starting point if you need more info.

I installed it the day it came out. Since then I’m trying to understand how that THINK works.
I’m on Windows and I don’t know any thing about sources stuff that need to be compress….
I maybe sound spool but I m use to download and install and it’s works.

Sorry the idea sounds and looks very good, but not every body knows the compressing stuff.
Give me the binary file for Windows for the server and it will be a good start…
    Thank
